is this seriously flawed? If someone knows evaluate, can you help?

Sub Click(Source As Button)
Dim workspace As New NotesUIWorkspace
Dim uidoc As NotesUIDocument
Set uidoc = workspace.CurrentDocument

test=uidoc.FieldGetText("Assigned_IP")

Evaluate(|Shell("c:\portbounce\2.0\portbounce.exe | & " " & test &|", 1)|)
End Sub

It makes it to the end but errors so the Evlauate statement is wrong or it doesn't do .exe's like this? Any pointers would be gratefully received.
